What's New at Firefly Community

In this post, I wanted to give you a heads up on some exciting new offerings that will be available in 2025. 


The Companion Journal for Pawsitive Perspectives is nearly complete and will be available for purchase soon! The interactive journal invites you to delve deeper into the 40 lessons from the book and apply them to your own life. Through reflective questions and guided prompts, you'll gain a deer understanding of yourself and your potential. 


I'm working on a paid monthly membership plan for those who want to access more content, including quarterly wellness challenges, guided meditations, yoga class videos, and more in-depth articles on various topics from health and wellness to travel to following your passion and even explorations of how we can do more to protect our planet. It will be available soon on the Firefly Community website. In the meantime, you can check out some articles that I've written for local publications here and here (the full articles are published in the print versions of Well magazineand Covered Bridge magazine). 


My story of surviving a heart attack at 31 years old, and the lifestyle changes that I've made since then to protect my heart health, was recently published by the American Heart Association. You can read it here. I encourage all of you to know your risk factors for heart disease, learn the signs and symptoms of a heart attack, and listen to your body. I'm fortunate that my friend didn't accept no for an answer when he insisted we go to the hospital the day I was having a heart attack, otherwise I wouldn't be here. 


I decided to move this year's Colorado Yoga Retreat at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort to May. The new dates are May 16 - 18 with the option to add a third night for a VIP experience. Get ready for an inspiring weekend filled with yoga, nature exploration, rejuvenating hot springs, and connecting with wonderful people! With daily yoga sessions that include meditation and journaling prompts, you'll deepen your connection with yourself and gain clarity on what you truly desire in life.
