I wrote about the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018, also known as the Farm Bill, in August 2023 because it was set to expire on September 30 of that year. This important piece of legislation is typically renewed every five years. The expiration date came and went without a new bill. Instead, the existing bill from 2018 was extended for another year. The 2018 farm bill expired for a second time on September 30, 2024.
