As we near the end of March, I'm excited for Spring!
Spring is a time to renew and revitalize. It's when we (and nature) emerge from slumber and begin the process of expansion.
Use today's yoga pose, a restorative twist, to wring and flush the stagnating effects of Winter.
You'll need either two blocks and a bolster, or a folded blanket and two pillows (or one body pillow) to do today's pose. Click on the video below to be guided through this restorative pose.
This restorative twist helps calm the nervous system, and improves vertebral joint flexibility, digestion, as well as circulation. You'll feel a gentle stretch in the muscles of the back, and the intercostals (muscles between the ribs).
