Earlier this month, I wrote about some upcoming Firefly events. I'm happy to be offering a series of four Yoga to Thrive classes on Fridays in May.
I started offering this format of yoga in January 2023. These classes take multiple styles of yoga and combine them to create a well-rounded practice that is appropriate for all levels, and does not require any experience with yoga. Each one-hour class will include some Self Awakening Yoga (SAY) to help you get acquainted with what's going on in your body, standing poses to develop strength and balance, and stretches to improve mobility. This is a slower practice that allows you to fully experience each pose or movement in your body.
Yoga to Thrive classes are designed to keep you mobile and agile so that you can age gracefully, maintain range of motion, and stay active and injury-free. The practice is intended to increase body awareness and improve your overall wellbeing by combining intentional movements with strength-building and balance.
Yoga to Thrive classes are being offered on Fridays, May 3, 10, 17, and 24 at 12 p.m. Mountain Time via Zoom. Register here for one class for $15 or the set of four for $48. If you can't attend live, you'll receive a link to the recording for registering.
